The
museum was established at a cost of around half a million Dalasi, all
from gate fees to the pool and has since its
inception in 2004 joined international museum bodies such as ICM, West Africa Museums Programme, and AFRICOM, the pan African
Museum body. It has also established a working relationship with the
Gambia National Centre for Arts & Culture. |
